Common questions
Blocking isn't starting at bedtime
- Check Screen Time permission: Settings → Screen Time must show 28 Hour Day as allowed. The app's own Settings → Permissions row shows the current status.
- Make sure at least one app or category is selected under Settings → Blocked Apps.
- Confirm tonight is one of your active days (Settings → Sleep Schedule).
Do I need an account?
No. Version 1.0 is free, and all core protection and progress features work without an account. Signing in under Settings → Account is optional and turns on Cloud Backup so your profile and progress can survive a reinstall.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your sign-in, cloud backup, account-linked feedback, and account-scoped profile, progress, Screen Time, and shield data stored on that phone. Feedback sent while signed out is anonymous and cannot be matched to your account.
I reinstalled — where did my blocked apps go?
Your streak and stats restore automatically when you sign in. Your blocked-app selection can't be restored — Apple's Screen Time design ties those choices to a single installation for privacy — so the app asks you to pick your apps again during setup. It takes under a minute.
How do I turn off the grayscale automation?
In the app: Settings → Turn Off Grayscale walks you through removing the two Shortcuts automations. If your screen is gray right now: iPhone Settings → Accessibility → Display & Text Size → Color Filters → off.
